Amanda Davis, pelvic floor physical therapist

 oh hey!

Amanda Davis, here.

I have a doctorate in physical therapy with a certified specialty in pelvic floor health. While I love treating my patients in person, my true passion lies in educating and empowering women outside of the clinic in all things concerning the area between their legs.

Avoid the uncomfortable? Not here! I discuss everything from urine leakage to pain with sex, the ins and outs of pooping properly, and so much more. If you’re pregnant, recently postpartum, your baby is turning 40 this year, or maybe you’re a fur mama like me…this is for you!

I’m an expert at taking taboo topics and turning them into a fun experience that makes you feel like you’re chatting with your bestie over a charcuterie board and asking “why did no one tell me this before?!”

I LIVE IN THE WOODS OF WASHINGTON WITH MY HANDSOME HUBS, LOLO GIRL AND FUR BABES. WE SPEND MOST NIGHTS BINGING "THE OFFICE" EPISODES, GOING ON LAKESIDE WALKS, READING, AND WORKING ON THE LATEST HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. ALL BEFORE 8 PM, MIND YOU.

I was able to get pregnant despite me endometriosis diagnosis, and now that my girl is here, I'm personally navigating the hurdle that is postpartum healing and I feel like it's given me a whole new perspective to what my patients go through.

I'm using my knowledge as a pelvic floor PT to manage and (fingers crossed) heal these issues. and why not give you all the deets in the process!? I'm into sharing pelvic floor tips like most girls talk about their favorite pair of jeans. And once you find your perfect fit, you just can't live without 'em, you know!?

My days range from thriving to barely surviving with a lifestyle that is somewhere between crunchy and conventional. I’ve realized that achieving “balance” is about as likely as me not filling up on apps and margs before dinner arrives, and have learned to embrace the magical middle.

If you want to know what lights me up, look no further! I closed my private practice because reaching one woman an hour just wasn't cutting it. I have many passions (hello my fellow libras!), but this!? this is my "why".

I can talk about thrifted home decor or argue over who has the tastiest french dip in town all day, but my appetite for impact (and my crack-of-dawn CrossFit workouts) are what get me out of bed in the morning.

If you leave this space with info that you can't help but share with your sister, girlfriend, and even mother-in-law, I'll consider it a success.
